Stop wanting you.

You ... are like caffeine in my coffee.
You are a stimulant.
You make me more active.

I might not realize that you make my heart beat faster.
... that I'm never tired of you
... that I've got too attached to you

Can I stop you?
... or should I stop myself from wanting you?

wait,

I never really wanted you in the 1st place.
but, it's the feeling, it's not you

Because you are so much like caffeine in my coffee ...
too much of you is bad for me.

I guess, I should just stop wanting you.

STOP.

If he’s out of your league …

I’m an average looking, moderately successful gal. Definitely, I’m not expert at love. What I am good at is …. unrequited love? D’oh! Well, let’s just say I’ve been pining for ways to find the one, the right one. And what’s more, “the drive” to fall head over heels in love with guys who indeed have done a little more than just smiling at me is compelling.

He’s out of your league. Sounds so lame, but that’s what it is. Reality bites.

But come to think of it, unrequited love is not really that bad. Look on the bright side, there might have been some ideas about unrequited love which actually are advantageous.
  • You have got something to do with your spare time. When you fall madly in love with someone, it’s likely that you spend your time, even a limited amount of your leisure time, thinking about him. See, the point is, you have got someone to think about, to daydream about. You spend minutes to hours stalking him on Facebook, Twitter and the like. The thing is that you, subconsciously, slowly gain skills to discover information – detective work. Not to mention that he always seems to sneak into your head. Hahaha.
  • You have found this one great way to be productive. You have got something to write about, for example. As to me, this really works.
Every cloud has a silver lining, and so they say.
This is pretty much of a silver lining to my storm cloud of unrequited love. Yes, I can see that silver lining.

Mom = Match-maker? Errr ...

In this late days of 2010, I should have had some kind of new spirit, strength of mind, inner-self to get ready to count on a new beginning. But there has been something bothering my mind, something annoying, irritating ... err frustrating *I think I'm just exaggerating*. It keeps getting me on my nerves, like I'm being exposed to think about it over and over again. Even I feel like I'm going down deep to a very huge confusion that is growing every single second of my life *again, I'm exaggerating*.

It's all about a topic Mom brought up few days ago. An arranged marriage, that is.
Maybe it's not as bad as it sounds. Maybe.

I don't expect anybody helping me out to fix it up. I just need to let someone else know. I need you let you know, just to make myself a bit more relieved.

an arranged marriage

What about an arranged marriage?
Arrrrgh! What do you expect a 26 y/o woman reacts when such a question pops up?

It was Monday morning when I was getting ready to go to work ...
I simply had no idea what to say, and just walked away.

This is how I view an arranged marriage:

I don't understand men

Gals, you might want to check out the following quote:

Men are liars. We'll lie about lying if we have to. I'm an algebra liar. I figure two good lies make a positive.

Well said!

Well OK, this is how I finally ended up with the quote above:

Same thing different day

Another piece of advice
...
Last night I attended an English speaking community called e-Club. It's been my weekly routine on Thursday eve. I was not supposed to be part of the club, as my DoA suggested that I should belong to the 'hurray team' encouraging everyone to speak up. Yet, I kinda enjoyed it as a semi-participant. Ha ha ha.

It was a quite frightening topic to discuss ... Psychological Disorder! It only took a few minutes to elicit some surprising facts about its various kinds. They were multiple personality, schizophrenia, phobia, bulimia, anorexia, and some other diseases about which we were wrong. Hmmm, it was good to finally get well informed. Then, we went through everyone’s problems, it was set to take turns clockwise. Some fessed up their problems while some other just made up the stories. I, myself, got a bit confused to reveal.

The next thing to do was a shrewd move. One was to act as a psychologist, paired up another one as a patient. I’m not going to elaborate each pair.

Then, it was a pair, in which I was the patient. I completely had no idea what spirit occupied me that night so that I suddenly got the guts to fess up a story of my life. I illustrated that as problem of my life. It wasn’t a problem; actually, it was more like a burning question which keeps haunting me and insisting an answer.

hmmm, so I started out:
"...there was this woman. She is a young, witty, affectionate teacher ..."

I knew it very well, that I made it too easy to guess. It was ME. So, everyone started to look curious, some were laughing, shouting, racing after my words (as if he knew what I was about to tell). The bottom line is they were listening.

And the my line reached its peak when I finally said:
"She finds it hard to find someone."

Everyone was burst into laughter. Oh No, I regretted telling the truth in just a minute...But then, I've got nothing to lose. A word of advice would be worth my genuine, plain stupid confession.

Soon, a sound-wise voice broke the laughter, telling me to do this and that, things I've heard like a thousand times ...

Yeah, it's just another piece of advice, or it's been the only answer.
I'll figure out ... someday.
